All the lightness of lingerie with no cliché

Lingerie and Bikinis as never before. Constructions inspired by the magical proportions of dance; fresh, elegant taste, sexy when needed, no cliché, with a textile designer mix of colours and materials; cut with scissors and not in series, with no rules for all occasions. Industrial background with craft stages, fabrics printed in Como, local production, worldwide inspiration,  lingerie with no image of woman objects, a bikini to make you feel unique on beaches, swimsuits that are so different they can be used as clothes.

Q&A with INDIVIDUALS

Your town. And three words to describe it.
Milan: easy, possible, receptive.

Three words to describe your projects.
With no apparent rules, individual like their names, mostly printed.

A colour.
Violet in all its nuances.

A taste.
Bitter.

Antique, modern or contemporary?
Time warped, because everything (or almost) existed before we did; you just have to look elsewhere with contemporary eyes, imagining the future. The ingredients of our work exist before our projects; it’s the taste for assembling them that changes and takes us to the future.

The most precious item you own?
A shell with a metal case and an ivory perfume-holder.

Where is design going?
Lost in the Instagram timeline. Some aspects of industrial production and social communication limit the time to understand design so you look for communication effectiveness to the detriment of a product’s design validity.

Where are you going?
Towards substance because "details" do not make a product; towards a timeless dimension of lovely things “forever". Quality is made of substance, concrete quality, of production methods, autonomy and identity.

Three words to describe Italy.
Difficult, small, marvellous.

If not in Italy, where?
No place else.

Never without?
Scissors and cut&sew, or a toolbox, or a kitchen to cook in. I wouldn’t want to be too ambitious…

A motto.
Money is never the first problem, it’s the fourth: first you have ideas, the time to do them, people with which to do them and then...money.
