Textile inheritance. Unique bags made from recovered furnishing fabrics

Labolsina was set up in 2010. The idea was of Margherita Vaghi, brand founder and creative director: recover fabrics once used to furnish luxury hotels all over the world, available in limited quantities and no longer produced, and use them to create precious, exclusive, very limited edition bags.

Q&A with Margherita

Your town. And three words to describe it.
Monza. Bourgeois, quiet and in need of a storm.

Three words to describe your projects.
Colour, pattern, fabric.

A colour.
Red.

A taste.
Pizza.

Antique, modern or contemporary?
Timeless.

The most precious item you own?
A red-lacquered SMEG fridge.

Where is design going?
Towards democratization. Ikea docet.

Where are you going?
Forwards till I meet red lights.

Three words to describe Italy.
Complicated. Breathlessly beautiful. Insecure.

If not in Italy, where?
Barcelona.

Never without?
A bag, naturally.

A motto.
Live and let live.
