For a physical, emotional relationship with objects. The meeting between an international designer and a designer leads to a crafts design brand
Maderae is not just a brand, but a complex point of view of contemporary design, furniture and the production of objects; resulting from the meeting of emerging Italian figures, David Dolcini and Giacomo Moor: a pure designer with international experience and a designer with his own crafts production. Launched in 2014 with Italo – the writing desk presented by the two designers at the exhibition Prototypes, travel notes during the last Design Week in Milan –, the collaboration between David Dolcini and Giacomo Moor has now reached another target with the creation of a “crafts design” brand and the launch of Memorie, the first Maderae collection: five furniture classics revisited in a contemporary style and returned, through careful cabinet-making, to the intensity of a physical, emotional relationship with the object world.
