The beauty of recovered material. Perfect natural contaminations.
Reiecta is a project born of waste. As Thomas Edison said “To invent you need a good imagination and a mass of rubbish.” Reiecta is Giulia, Alberto and Stefano who discover loads of marble waste dumped in a private wood, turned into an improvised dump. Over the years and as the material accumulates, the wood started its slow, relentless transformation: the marble, from inert material, has become fertile attracting forms of life. Roots grew, cracks appeared and signs of damp. Reiecta is a collection of objects contaminated by natural elements, in a more or less evident way. The magical meeting between marble, wood life and atmospheric agents giving life to different, interesting combinations.
